About Gems of Bollywood

A curated, growing repository of Bollywood films, scenes and statements — with an editorial overlay that examines how Hindi cinema portrays Hindus, faith, families and women.

What this is

Gems of Bollywood catalogues clips, films and statements from Hindi cinema and pairs the neutral record with clearly-labelled editorial commentary. The goal is a comprehensive, searchable archive that anyone can browse, alongside analysis that puts recurring patterns in context.

Our method

Films and clips are organised into neutral browse axes (title, year, people, category) with editorial themes layered on top. Video clips stay on their original platforms and are embedded, never re-hosted; our own metadata is preserved so the record survives even if a source video is removed.

Who runs it

The project is maintained by the Gems of Bollywood editorial team. For questions, corrections or collaboration, please use the contact page.
