The song was stolen by Laxmikant Pyarelel and Anand Bakshi from Lord Shorty who had composed it in 1974 to praise Shanti Mantra. Duo won Filmfare award for theft. Criticism and Review as per Section 52 of Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
